Welcome to Inner Voice Healing

If you are new to emotional healing, or even if you are seasoned in the work, I hope you will find the information on this site helpful.  Like life, it is a work in progress…

The Principles of The Work

1)       Awareness  that we  have unresolved issues to heal

2)       Courage to face our pain, our past, and our strongly held beliefs

3)       Desire to believe that we are not our story and our lives can be different

4)       Willingness to rely on a divine power greater than ourselves

5)       Acceptance that healing takes time, patience and self-love

The Philosophy Behind The Work

Free the past to free the future.

Most of us acknowledge, on some level, that we have issues we would like to resolve. There are things about our actions, reactions, thought processes or life patterns we wish to change.  However, we do not inherently know how to achieve lasting healing or even how to find a path from where we are to where we want to be.

The beginning place for most deep healing is in acknowledging the nature of our subconscious.  The subconscious, or unconscious side of ourselves, is behind everything we think we are.  It is, inter alia, the driving force behind all of our reactions, coping strategies, beliefs, and fears.  It stores a record of everything we ever experience and what we decide about that experience.  No amount of force or ‘will power’ can unwind the core beliefs held in the subconscious. It is only by gentle persuasion that it can be healed.

Our conscious mind, or ego, plays an integral role in interpreting the messages it receives from the subconscious and furthering our deep-held beliefs.  The ego’s job is to keep us safe, or at least right. The methods for maintaining this are unique to each person and their individual life experiences.  The ego develops ingenious coping mechanisms to help us maneuver through life while holding on to our belief systems, regardless of whether they make us happy or not.  We usually identify our ego as who we are.  However, dealing solely with the ego will not provide lasting healing as it is not the primary motivator behind our actions.

Working with these two aspects of our being is essential to healing and creating different outcomes in our lives.   It is though this work that we identify our inner child (or children), have the opportunity to address unmet needs, present new truths, and transform our belief systems at their core or origination.  The ego can also be validated for its tireless efforts at protecting us and be enlisted in learning new ways to approach life.  One of the most effective tools for this is regression work modalities, including Emotional Release Processing.

If you are new to healing this is where you should begin.

If, however, these concepts are familiar to you, please keep reading…

Holistic Integration

Beyond the complex issue of dealing with the ego’s coping strategies through its interpretation of the subconscious, I have found the next greatest issue afflicting mankind today is that we are at war with our bodies.  We do tremendous disservice to this companion of ours. We abuse it and neglect it, or force it beyond its limits, and then when it is not perfect and cannot withstand the onslaught we deliver, we hate it and blame it.

While the mind is the director or master librarian, the body itself is the library.  It is the storehouse of the subconscious.  Once again, this means the memory of everything we’ve ever experienced (seen, touched, tasted, smelled, heard, etc.) and our decisions about the experience.  The body, as the repository of the experiences and decisions, often times feels burdened and overwhelmed by what it must carry.

If you noticed, I just spoke about the body as if it were experiencing its own emotions.   I purport that it does indeed have emotions and even a level of consciousness.  All parts of our being have a level of consciousness.  We know the mind as our consciousness; but also generally accept that our spirit is consciousness, that it is permanent and unending – even if its full consciousness is veiled from our mind. Additionally, we often innately trust our heart consciousness by accepting the feelings or intuition it communicates to us – even if seemingly illogical.   We know deep down that it possesses its own wisdom.   Any who have experienced the Holy Spirit through their heart space cannot deny how aware – even conscious – their heart was to the experience.  Still, we generally deny the body credit of consciousness – it is an afterthought.  Yet, by listening to and learning from its story and messages, we can not only heal its wounds, but our entire being in the process.

It’s important to note here that each part of us has a carnal as well as a divine nature, the body is no exception. It will rebel against mistreatment and force of will, but it will also hold us up, support us, and carry us through this life as the best friend we’ve ever had.  Any aspect of our being can be abandoned or mistreated, and any aspect of our being can be healed through willingness, patience and love.

I invite you to consider that there are many layers of us that need healing… and to accept where you are today.

I work with all aspects of our being to create unity and integration, healing and health.  I seek to represent the unrepresented and advocate for any portion that needs a voice.
